This finishes up covering everyone from the Autumn Bellydance Gala here in town. Looking back, I managed to put together a small number of “keepers”. Surprising with overhead lighting that cast horrendous shadows, those obtrusive front stage speakers that blocked so much and had to be somehow removed (even when they blocked feet), and an overlarge stage that somehow encouraged groups to spread out too much.

The opening shot is Donna Eileen – seems like the third time I’ve shot her. She’s becoming fun to watch, and a little earthy…
