From the beginning I’ve done cast portraits. Designed primarily to provide up to date images (maybe an inch and a half tall) for the program. I use it as an opportunity to get some nice shots, taken outdoors, in the shade, at a garage rehearsal – with a dark backdrop thrown over an old wood fence. Sometimes someone has to hold an umbrella to block stray sun rays leaking through the trees.

I shouldn’t have been surprised when Rogue opted to use “monster” pics though for their new performance cards for this show – it IS a Halloween performance, and an orange background, well…… Anyway, the intro shot is of LH James in his traditional vaudeville garb, in which he comes on as announcer, etc.

Below is Nate, Katie’s husband, who, if there is a wolf, werewolf or otherwise, involved, will take the part…

The “normal” shots of Kali and Jeremy, core of The Hushdown rock band. They’re doing “Jabberwokie” from their new album as part of the show…

Finally getting caught up on the two cast sets – now to work on producing the show cards. I’m a little excited about the major upgrade I’ve come up with for them: heavier, printed on both sides, even waterproof (ok, so there’s a little extra work involved). Unfortunately I’ll have to get back cost of any after-the-show sets that are ordered.
