"Something Wicked" – Providence…

Nov 5, 2025

Three of the images in this posting are share an obvious difference from others to this point. They reveal the distracting front-stage lights and speaker feedback boxes on the front of the Star Centre stage. While the eye-brain combination learns quickly to ignore them, the camera cannot. In most cases it isn’t all that difficult to remove them, albeit a little time consuming. Even if there is some blocking of feet, etc., I can often manage a passable replacement. However in this number so many moved so far forward towards the edge of the stage that it simply wasn’t going to happen across the board. And removal of some instead of all proved an UGLY half measure. So, here they are in all their glory – not bad but not ideal. Nan wants to beat me over the head for fretting over it so much:

Again, potentially a couple still waiting to join these at the end – putting together the pdf eBook always makes for some reconsidering.

By the way, I CAN now export a file to the handy epub format (positionally locked so images don’t flow). BUT I’m finding that it comes with ISSUES. Sure, epub is more bookish. But image quality takes a considerable hit – and isn’t that the whole point of an image folio? PDF eBooks do have the issue that what one opens it in determines how it acts – anywhere from like a regular vertical scrolling pdf to very much like a digital coffee table book. But the images are very enlargeable, projecting well on a tv, etc. I had expected to like the epub potential, but it’s looking like a fizzle.
