“Sword of Damocles” number is from “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, but the phrase has a well known meaning – if unfamiliar, look it up. Makes it a lot more interesting. The number starts off with Jasper, Amy and Jess singing, during which it turns into (one of my phrases describing Rogue scenes) – choreographed chaos. The pity is that these productions, to date limited to two or three performances per show, deserve a lot more. During which a goodly number of people would want to see them multiple times, picking up on new observations with each. But unfortunately we are in a less cerebral age and live entertainment, no matter how excellent, does not attract large audiences (unless it’s a tribute band)…

In every Rogue vaudeville there are a lot, lot of what can only be referred to as Easter-eggs, references to past performances. Often it’s only random props (like the “Puffs" dragon egg on a table in this show). Here Jesse carries the same mop that played the part of Hermeone in “Puffs” earlier in the year, along with a picture of Alex, this being the first time in years that he was unable to be a member of the cast.
