I’ve been doing these since the beginning, in the very little “Black Box” in the Opera House. Results of the shots are very much a crap-shoot. Every venue is different for background, stage ambiance and lighting. All this is complicated by the color of the lights at the moment and position of the dancer relative to everything else.

Naimah came out in rather low spotlight lighting – Im assuming that they do have at least a little choice in the matter. This worked well for Naimah – leaving me unwilling or unable to trim the count down any further than these seven without feeling like I would be letting her down. They all help paint a picture of the performance. I,m beginning with Naima simply because these are my favorites this time around, especially the first one below…
