Rogue Swan’s “Very 70s Dance Party” at the Vandiver in town was a tricksy shoot. Lots of motion, very little light and a shortage of shooting angle. But it was fun. I had to trust the auto-eye focus most of the time. Exposure iso ranged from 12,800 to maybe three stops underexposed at that. It made for some interesting results. Actually, since I do have a considerable body of Rogue Swan work, pretty cool. Opening shot is Katie belting one out…

There are a few more, and I will get to them. Getting a usable image out of exposures like is somewhere between pulling one’s own teeth and beating one’s head against a cinder block. Plus, I just realized how far behind I am in keeping up the folio on Rogue dinner theatres at the Vandiver. Maybe I catch that up next.
