One thing I have to admit about shooting a Hafla at the new rejuvenated State Theatre is that thank goodness it’s not the Star Centre. The State doesn’t have all those lights and feedback speakers across the front of the stage – blocking feet and forcing me to find a way around that. More than doubles the work load. The black background is a little tricky, but backdrop is always a little bit of an issue with photographing bellydance.
